Lots of Holiday Cheer at ABOW

The Studio had a very busy month this Holiday Season! It was filled with events to show our staff, loyal clients, and new clients our gratitutde for their continued business.

We had the Lorna Jane Holiday Trunk Show at the Studio and it went off without a hitch! Lorna Jane was kind enough to bring in two racks of their best athletic wear. Our clients and interested guests had the chance to get in a little Holiday shopping in between workouts. With the smell of warm coffee and treats in the air, it was a splendid party! Lorna Jane looks forward to planning another seasonal event with ABOW soon. So look out for more customer appreciation parties!

Throughout the whole first week of December, we had complimentary coffee, tea, and healthy holiday treats as a sign of appreciation for all our lovely staff and clients! We hope you all enjoyed :) ABOW is sincerely grateful for your trust in allowing us along your fitness journey.

The Holidays are a time to enjoy your favorite sweet and savory treats, get together with friends and family, and spread Holiday cheer. Enjoy this holiday season a little more guilt-free with this healthy recipe!

When you want to feel a little better indulging that sweet tooth, whip up this healthy chocolate coconut mug muffin (and in just under 5 minutes) inspired by frysauceandgrits.com ~

Healthy Chocolate Coconut Oil Mug Muffin (makes 1 serving)

Ingredients

2 Tbsp coconut flour (I really like this kind of coconut flour)

1 1/2 Tbsp stevia

1 Tbsp cocoa powder, heaping

1 egg

3 Tbsp unsweetened almond milk

1 Tbsp coconut oil

splash of vanilla extract pinch of salt pinch of cinnamon or chili powder for a kick

Directions

Mix all dry ingredients in a large coffee mug, then add wet ingredients. Place uncovered mug in a microwave and cook for two minutes. *I like to pour more milk on top of it to make it more of a bread pudding! Let the mug muffin cool off for a few minutes and enjoy!

Nutritional per serving: Calories 300, Fat 23 grams, Carbs 24 grams, Protein 9 grams (this is for coconut flour and coconut oil)
